We’re Back! Sorry about the delay…..

Last week we had a fantasic write up in Time Out , courtesy of the lovely Daniel Radcliffe. He told Time Out about the jacket I’d sold him when I was still working at Laurence Corner, and then Time Out ran with it and talked about Squadron H.Q. Was a lovely surprise!

We decided to streamline the Hire Department so we can concentrate on continuing to build up the Military Uniforms and offer the ultimate experience in hire, and to that end are selling off the period dresses, many of which are vintage evening dresses and absolutely gorgeous, drop in and have a look while we still have some left!

We also just took delivery of some super combat jackets for the spring, green cotton ex-Hungarian forces, far superior to any you will see on the catwalk, and at under £20.00, a bargain!

Squadron HQ was profiled in the “secret shops” article in TimeOut London this month. Always nice to get some recognition!

We can’t believe it’s almost Christmas already, it seems to have really crept up on us this year. Are you ready yet. A Special Announcement from Squadron HQ

Due to overwhelming popular demand we are now able to offer a fancy dress and uniform hire service by post. How does this work? Simple: we post the costume to you and you return it to us at the end of the hire period.   What is the Fancy Dress and Uniform Hire Service? If you haven’t seen our hire website before, do have a look around. We have an excellent range of all kinds of fancy dress costumes, not just military. Although of course, our range of military costumes is pretty legendary. What is Being Announced Today? To date we’ve only been able to offer hires via our shop in Camden Town, but with this new service we’ll be able to hire costumes to you wherever you live in the UK. While we can’t offer any costume, as some are too valuable or fragile to trust to the postal service, we do have a wide range of costumes available. Have a look at the website and give us a call for more details.   How Does the Service Work? Once you’ve decided on the costume you want to hire whether you have seen it on our website or not, give us a call on 020 7485 2442 and we’ll talk you through the next steps. Essentially as long as it’s available and eligible for postal hire we’ll post it to you and you post it back to us at the end of the hire period. Two years old already

Squadron HQ is two years old today. I can’t believe how quickly the time has gone, and how the business has developed in that time. It’s been hard work but very rewarding, and we’re proud of the business we have built.

Of course, we’d be nothing at all without our wonderful customers so our thanks goes to you all. Here’s to many more successful years for Squadron HQ, and our hire business shqhire.com. We’re having a great time and I hope we’ll be around to celebrate many more birthdays.
